Support Programme

We find volunteers who support people who have come to Munich through a humanitarian admission programme. 

You are new in Munich and would like to have

• general support with arriving in Munich

• contact with other residents from Munich

• someone to show you around the city

• someone who can explain how the public transport system works 

• etc.

Or you have been here for a while and would like someone

• with whom you can practise speaking German

• who looks at your mail with you 

• who supports you in finding an apprenticeship or something similar

• etc.

We look for volunteers to support you with your first and further steps in Munich. The first meeting will take place with a safe ways employee, after which you will meet with the volunteer independently about once a week. The staff at safe ways is always available to answer any questions you may have.
